We are expecting a full house at Cardiff Circus Centre tomorrow.

For health and safety reasons, reaching full capacity means we may have to employ a one in-one out system if it gets too busy at any point during the day.

We are confident that anyone who turns up will get a chance to try out some circus, and we will be trying our best to keep things moving as smoothly as possible on the day, so please bear with us during those busy times!

Children & Accessibility

Children of all ages are most certainly welcome to come along and try out circus, although all children under 16 years old MUST be accompanied at all times by an adult. There will be something for everyone of any age or ability to come and try out, but not all of the workshops will be appropriate for ever age.
There will be three ‘skill stations’ where you can try out a variety of skills.

  1. Manipulation Area
A free flowing, non-reserved area where you can try out a number of traditional skills like juggling, balance, stilts, unicycle - all under the helpful eye of our professional trainers.
  2. Static Trapeze Station
Age 5+, reserved on the day
  3. Aerial Hoop Station
Age 5+, reserved on the day

Our space is wheelchair-friendly and we always try to make sure our activities can cater to any assistance or access requirements that you may have.
If you have any access needs or requirements – please do get in touch with reception before the open day so that we can serve to the best of our ability.

We will be taking pictures throughout the day, and these will be used in the company’s marketing materials both in print and online.

You will need to sign an entrance form when you arrive in our space. This will include a photo permission slip, which allows us to photograph the event as freely as possible throughout the day.

It is not a requirement for you to give us permission to take or keep any photographs that include you or your child(ren), and we will endeavour to avoid photographing anyone who has not given us permission to do so.

Please be aware that in a large event like this, most of those attending will inevitably end up being in a few of the photographs.

For anyone who does not want to be included in the photographs, we will provide high visibility stickers (the size of a badge) to stick onto your clothing. This will enable us to remove and delete photographs from our records.

Suitable Clothing

  • Tracksuit bottoms with a t-shirt, either fitted or one you are able to tuck in are ideal. If you can wear a leotard/unitard underneath even better.
  • Combat trousers, baggy clothing, shorts and trousers with pockets on the side of the leg are not suitable for these activities.
  • Most activities are barefoot, though bring a clean pair of trainers that can be worn inside for activities such as tightwire or Chinese Pole.
  • All jewellery will need to be removed before undertaking these activities. We strongly advise that piercings are removed.

The car park at Cardiff Central Sports & Community Centre is available to anyone while using the space, though parking is limited and operates on a first come first served basis. Please use the cycle rack if you arrive by bike.  Vehicles and bikes are left at your own risk.
