NoFit State Circus are looking for a motivated, ambitious and organised Development Manager with a genuine passion for the arts and the work we do.  

You must be excellent at building and nurturing relationships, able to think long term and strategically, and adapt to various needs of the ever-changing world around us. 

NoFit State is the UK’s largest contemporary circus company, and every year we engage with 120,000-150,000 people of all ages and backgrounds from across Wales, the UK and the world.  We have exciting plans ahead – you and our supporters are integral to making them a success, there’s never been a better time to join us and be part of it.

Working hours: Full time 

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

NoFit State is in an exciting point of the company’s development and our Community Programme is expanding its work, developing and delivering participatory creative circus projects with and within our local communities.

The Community Programme Administrator/Receptionist is a key role and will provide efficient administrative support to the Community Programme and Reception team and all its activities.

This position is a touring role that travels with the SABOTAGE company in a Big Top and caravans. We live and travel together, we work hard and play hard. We want the people joining us to be living and breathing the lifestyle with us.

You have a strong visual eye and a keen sense of story telling. You understand the company’s unique style, brand, and ethos and can capture unique moments and engage our audience over multiple channels.

You are a people-person and have great customer service skills. You are a creative problem solver who makes things happen and overcomes obstacles. You enjoy being part of a strong team and are comfortable taking the lead, embrace your responsibilities, and want to learn and succeed.

You may or may not have any experience in Big Top touring, but you have a real desire to take this exciting opportunity, expand your horizons and be part of an incredible team of people.

assistant producer and volunteer coordinator

We are looking for a motivated and capable Assistant Producer and Volunteer Coordinator with a passion for performing arts, community arts, and art as activism to successfully support the delivery of our end-of-summer event, and the community events and engagement programmes that lead up to it.

The Assistant Producer and Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Community Programme Manager and take the lead on specific tasks such as steward/volunteer management and coordinating participation artists and contractors, working across departments to ensure seamless execution of event objectives.

Contract Term: 6 month freelance 

Salary: £14,000 (£28,000 pro-rata)

Deadline: Wednesday 17 April 

Indicative Start Date: As soon as possible, ideally beginning of May
